Belgian Congo. (South Atlantic Service). 1942. Registered Air Mail envelope addressed to Boston bearing Belgian Congo 1f brown and grey (2), 3f50 olive (4) and 4f50 blue tied by Elisabethville date stamp '28th Aug 42' with matching registration label with 'Congo Belge' censor tape tied by Leopoldville transit '1/9', routed via Cape Town on 'Cape Town Clipper' to the West Indies with Trinidad 'Opened by Examiner/ I.E. 8622' label with Miami 'Sep 16' and Boston receiver 'Sept 20th' on reverse. Very fine item paying the 22f50 rate sent P.A.A. 1st Phase of the South Atlantic Service. Ex. Proud.

28th August 1942. B. Congo to USA via Leopoldville 1 September (censor). To Capetown Clipper, 6020 which left 4 September and arrived Trinidad 6th September where it was censored. Then by "PANAGRA" to Miami arriving 18th September (b/s), delivered 20 September (b.s). Franked at F22,50.
