Great Britain. (Sudan - Burma). 1932. Air Mail envelope addressed to 'Mr Waterson, Passenger per 'S.S. "Burma", Henderson Line, Port Said' bearing Great Britain SG 429, 1 1/2d brown and SG 421, 2d orange tied by Lewisham slogan '17th Oct 32' with 'Recu Par/ Avion/ Alexandria' and Port Said '23rd Oct, the ship had sailed and the cover was sent via 'Shellal - Halfa T.P.O. No 2' to Port Sudan '1st Nov', (again missed ship) and 'By Air Mail' imprint erased and re-directed to Rangoon, Burma with '
Shellal - Halfa T.P.O. No 1', Cairo and Port Said '7th Nov', forwarded on arrival in Rangoon to 'c/o B.C.M.S. (Bible Church Missionary's Society), Mohnyin, Upper Burma.

The Henderson Line was part of the British and Burmese Steam Navigation Co. They sailed fortnightly from Port Sudan to Rangoon.
