Mourning envelope addressed to Noumea bearing French General Colonies Yvert 38, 2c pale brown (two imperf pairs and single imperf) tied by Nouvelle-Caledonie/ Noumea double ring '31st Jan 91'. An exceptional mourning cover paying the ten cents interior rate. The 'Type Sage' two cents imperf is not recorded on cover from New Caledonia. Exhibition item.
