Stamp-less folded letter addressed to Athens cancelled by Lyon double ring '28th Mai 1869', endorsed 'via Marseille' with Marseille transit ''29th Mai', charged with hand-struck '90' and bearing Greek 'Large Hermes' Yvert 20, 10 lepta orange/ azure (imperf) and Yvert 22, 40 lepta lilac/ azure (imperf pair) applied and tied on arrival by Athens date stamp.
Very fine usage of Large Hermes stamps as Postage Dues.
