Envelope addressed to Manahiki, New Zealand bearing Great Britain SG 466, 2 1/2d blue tied by Morley/ Leeds slogan '21st Oct 41' with Manihiki arrival and hand-struck 'Not A Rural Boxholder', 'Insufficient Address' and framed 'Not Known Address/ Mail Carrier Gore' in carmine on face with octagonal 'Wellington/ Unclaimed/ 3rd Aug 1942' and circular 'Dead Letter Office Wellington' on reverse with m/s 'Not Manikiti/ Cook Islands', then returned to England. Interesting item.
