Norway.(British Ship Letters). 1886. Norway postal stationery card 10 ore carmine cancelled by Bergen double ring '21st July 1888' addressed to England, routed via Newcastle with 'Newcastle On Tyne/ Ship Letter' hand-stamp in black (Robertson S. 5) and 'Ship Letter Paid/ London' in red dated 'July 24' with London cds in red and Bromley receiver on face.
Robertson notes the Newcastle Type 5 as scarce and used only 1889 - 1890, this example a year earlier than recorded by Robertson.
