Crested envelope written from the 'British Consulate, Kurdistan' with crested coat of arms in blue and wax seal on reverse in red, addressed to London bearing Turkey Yvert 85, 1p grey (not tied) with vernacular date stamp (Erbil), routed via Constantinople with London receiver on reverse.
The British Consulate for Kurtistan was based in Erbil, Iraq. Lovely item.
